The Spring season has started at Loch Moy Farm! After the March Cross Derby, we'll jump into full competition mode with Spring Starter #1 on March 26, and a FADS dressage schooling show on April 8. Check out the calendar to see all the great things that are happening in the next few months.
And now for our favorite question: Have you had your Coggins drawn? Please plan your spring vet visit if you haven't already! Maryland state law requires a 12-month negative coggins for all traveling horses. This document is due on closing day along with your entry, waiver and fees. Late documents will incur a $25 late fee. Help us put on the best event possible by submitting all paperwork in a timely manner!
In 2017, the Maryland Horse Trials invites the instructors/coaches of our competitors to identify themselves to us. Because instructors/coaches are so important to the quality of event riding, we would like to recognize their efforts. We will tally the results of competitors with identified instructors/coaches in order to present a monetary award to instructors/coaches at the conclusion of the 2017 MDHT event series.
