The MIEF – Maryland International CCI Scholarship supports riders competing at the Maryland International CCI, one of the premier international events held at Loch Moy Farm.
The Maryland International Equestrian Foundation (MIEF) will award four $1,000 equestrian scholarships to North American based riders wanting to compete at the 1*, 2*, 3* or 4* levels at the Maryland International CCI and HT. Scholarship funds may be applied toward entry fees, stabling, and other eligible competition expenses (such as one hotel room), up to $1,000.
Applicant Criteria
- Open to riders competing at the FEI levels (CCI1*–CCI4*)
- Funds are applied specifically for participation in the Maryland International CCI
- $1,000 credit to be applied towards entry fees, stabling, and other eligible competition expenses (such as one hotel room), up to $1,000. Meals and fuel are not included.
New for 2026: Unused funds may be used towards entry fees at a subsequent Maryland Horse Trial including YEH East Coast Championships. Unused funds will revert back to MIEF’s scholarship fund.
This scholarship is event-specific and awarded independently from the Rider Pathway Scholarship Program.
