About the Event

This Fall, we are pleased to host the Land Rover West Columbia Maryland Horse Trials III + Area II Championship at Loch Moy Farm!

We are in a prime location just outside Frederick, a convenient 30-minute drive from Leesburg, VA, and only 50 minutes away from both DC and Baltimore. The event is free to spectators and visitors are encouraged to attend.

The Maryland Horse Trials III + Area II Championship offers National divisions from Starter through Intermediate. Area II includes competitors from Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. All Area II Championship competitors must qualify throughout the year to compete in the October 3-5 Area II Championship.

Thanks to the generosity of Witherspoon, LLC, and Jim Newman, a longtime USEA volunteer and Loch Moy Farm supporter, we are proud to award $4,000 in prize money to the Area II Championship division winners.
